TARRAGONA (PART 2)

After enjoying the pier spot in tarragona we headed north to check some other spots and stop for something to eat. Down here you will see some shots of the last spot we went to that day. A small ditch with a ledge on one side and a strange type of snake run which had holes full of water, where eventually Richi’s board ended.

Sentfields, just for fun!

Tarragona (Part 1)

Past Sunday at 10.30am I was waiting in Sitges to join some friends on a day trip to Tarragona. The crew in the van was fromed by Edu, Teje, Nico, Nanaqui, Richi, Ricardo & me.

Our first destination was an old pool built probably in the 90’s in the town Miami Playa, some harsh transition and an enormous metal cooping was what we found.I didn’t shot any photos at this spot, but you can check some of the ones my friend Teje shot at the bowl and during all the day at his blogpost.

Also check other stuff in his blog you will find some good photos and nice stories (http://prideoftheeffort.blogspot.com.es).

Once we were done warming up at the bowl we drove to tarragona. On our way we got to rescue a lost cat that was left in the middle of the road, he would become the new member of the crew for the day!

When we got to Tarragona we heeded directly to the port where we knew this famous spot from Tom Penny’s firing line, we where greeted with banks, ledges and blazing sun!

Rescuing boards was a classic of the day, Ricardo was the man and got down there a few times.

we first stooped by the local park to warm up. Afterwards we went to a full pipe spot, once we where done we left to Mc Donald’s to have our lunch and on our way out we spotted this handrail and Pol was down for it.

At ehe moment Martí is working on trying to finish his first full length skate video of barcelona called “BARCELONIZED”, check out the trailer here.
